About the Founder

Dave Guarino is the Founder of Immortality PR & Communications LLC.

Prior to launching the executive communications advisory firm, Dave spent over 20 years leading all aspects of communications for some of the world’s most influential and recognized brands.

As Vice President and Head of Global Communications at Wolters Kluwer, a $6.4 billion Dutch technology company, Dave modernized and unified the global communications function. Under his leadership, the company significantly elevated its global media visibility, enhanced its crisis preparedness, and unlocked its brand value through deeper levels of media engagement.

Before Wolters Kluwer, Dave built a 21-year career at S&P Global, the world’s leading provider of credit ratings, market indices, and investment analytics. He advanced quickly through key leadership roles, from leading communications for S&P Dow Jones Indices (home to the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average) to being named Global Head of External Communications in 2016, and ultimately Chief Communications Officer in 2018, where he led all enterprise communications.

Before joining S&P Global, Dave held various leadership roles at UBS and New York Life Insurance Company.

Dave spends his spare time mentoring the next generation of communicators, publishing thought leadership on market trends and developments, and exercising.
